Description of Cookie

Purpose

Third Party Cookie - for analytical purposes through website tracker

The young ones aren’t a childcare service to us; they are our extended family. My son has been attending since the day they opened and they were nothing but understanding and accommodating towards him. As my son has ASD Zoe and Sue arranged for him to meet the staff before starting and took note of any special interests he had. To say they catered for his needs was an understatement. For Father’s Day last year, my son wanted to buy Paul a Father’s Day card and gift. Paul is always there when we are not able to be; my son looks up to him like his own father so it would only be right we treat him the same. My daughter could not wait to start in September after hearing about everything her brother was getting up to. The transition was smooth and she cannot wait to spend time with her friends both before and after school. Our children attend breakfast club and after school club 5 times a week. Whilst this is not ideal, it is our children’s routine and we could not think of anyone better to provide wrap around care. I cannot recommend them enough; the only words I have for them are family. Thank you!

My daughter is really enjoying the young ones after school club it fits well on the day i want while i work. They cover various activities so never bored. make friends. and exercise even partys and good value for money and get a hot meal included. goes up to age 11. so i hoping to stay as long as possible so she can make long term friends.

by Belinda Fisher

Best after school club ever! my daughter loves it there and never wants to leave. Zoe and the team are fantastic and the children are well looked after. there is so much for them to do. The Young Ones also provide pick up from school clubs. I would highly recommend them to anyone xx

My daughter has attended The Young Ones since she was 1 (turning 4 this year) and she loves her time there. She has excelled academically and is learning new things every day. She gets to experience so many fun activities that I know she wouldn’t experience in a nursery setting. The team are always out doing fun activities, visiting farms, zoos and parks and the arts and crafts they get up to is fab! She absolutely loves it. My new born is already booked in in preparation couldn’t recommend Sue and the team enough x

by Anni - Maeve

There aren’t enough words to say just how wonderful/amazing Sue and her team are. They really are the perfect place for your child. My little girl has been going for a year now and it’s the best thing we ever did. She’s so happy and has the best days. Sue takes the children to so many different places I honestly can’t believe how lucky she is. I really feel so happy I found Sue not only for my little girl but also for me as a parent. Once again I can’t recommend enough xxxxxx

We all know how hard it is to find a childminder that we trust to take care of our little people! Sue is friendly, completely approachable, always thinking of what to do next and treats the children like her own. We were on a waiting list with Sue and once lucky enough to gain a space I can see why! We have been so happy with The Young Ones. Sue, the girls and Paul work together as an amazing team. The children are go on awesome days out, do lots of messy play, enjoy garden time all year round with astro grass and just generally have fun. Our daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at The Young Ones and I would highly recommend - you will not be disappointed

by Kirsty – Darcie

Sue is the BEST childminder! After having a bad experience with a nursery, I was so lucky to find The Young Ones childcare for my daughter. She really enjoys attending and I love that they are taken out most days. We also get updates every evening and see photos of what they got up to that day which is a lovely thing to see. My son will be attending from next year and I’m certain he will also enjoy it too. I would highly recommend!

by Charlotte -Maisie & Harry

Sue is an outstanding childminder, she provides a calm, fun and caring environment for the children. My children have thoroughly enjoyed attending the Young Ones and they have been privileged to be looked after by Sue. Sue has a well-equipped outdoor area and a lovely indoor area for eating, playing and crafts area - all clean and safe. Sue is fantastic at planning days out for the children, they are varied, educational and fun, as a result my daughter has learnt so much from these outings. My daughter cried for over a year attending nursery. However she is so happy and runs into The Young Ones and doesn’t look back!! She loves it. I highly recommend.

by Sabrina -Layla & Jasmine

I am so grateful we found Sue as Gabriella’s childminder, she is amazing with the children and I can tell that by how much Gabriella loves her time with Sue. Gabriella has been with Sue for 4 days per week since she was 1yrs old. Sue’s unique set up, with the cabin has the feel of a formal and structure learning environment but with the person care you get from the childminder approach. There is definitely never a dull day and I feel Gabriella gets so much more out of her day is it involves so many activities whether it’s in the cabin, garden or the many outings they have each week. Gabriella absolutely loves her time with Sue, she settled so quickly and Sue kept us closely informed as to her settling in. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!!

by Lisa – Gabriella

Sue is absolutely amazing and Ollie adores her, so much so that he’s always asking to go to Sue’s house! There is never a dull day, activities are always planned for the week and such a variety too ensuring that the children always experience something different each day.. we have never looked back after being recommended to Sue - Ollie has experienced far more than we ever thought possible and has progressed so well in all areas thanks to Sue’s knowledge, dedication and brilliant care to each individual child’s needs.. we can’t thank you enough Sue, the smile on Ollie’s face in this picture says it all xx
